The History of Speedy Photo Booth

Tom Kanemoto and Lance Yabut founded the retail company Pink Shutter Photo Booths in November of 2011. In 2014, they launched a spin-off for the budget conscious, Speedy Photo Booth, which uses the same technology and produces the same high quality prints as its parent company, but with an open photo booth concept.

The idea began when Tom and Lance attended weddings and photo booths were popular but had many drawbacks: heavy, hard to transport, time consuming to setup, and produced low quality, slow prints. They decided to design their own photo booth and then patent it. The final result is one of the fastest, easiest to setup booths specifically engineered to be brought to special events.

Tom and Lance found that, even during times of economic uncertainty, people value personal attention, quality, service and social responsibility. Speedy Photo Booth prides itself on the best quality photos and super-fast printing. With this in mind the Speedy quality line of businesses is now being deployed nationwide.
